How hard is concrete?

We began demolition on the root cellar in our back yard. Little did we know what we would uncover. After 15 hours of jack-hammering we realized the price of concrete was cheap in the 1950's. The person that built the cellar made the roof 15" thick and used a car frame, as well as anything else he could find, for structure. What a mess!

Marcus, it looks like hard work. I rented a similar jackhammer for my bathroom floor... but I only had 8 inches to get through.
