Sarah had her dance recital this weekend. It actually is quite a story. The dancers work all year, September through May, practicing and learning their routine. Then, there is just one show at the end. It's two nights; Friday and Saturday. Well, Sarah started throwing up the Friday morning of her recital. I wanted to cry. She had been trying so hard for the last couple of weeks and we were all excited. She threw up every 10 to 20 minutes all day. Finally around 5 o'clock she stopped long enough for me to do her hair and get her dress on. We got to the recital about 20 minutes before it was suppose to start. Her dance was the second one, but by then she was already wasted. She cried through most of the dance and ended up running off the court into my arms.
Saturday night she completely redeemed herself and did a great job. She had a smile on her face almost the whole time and finished the dance. I have video from almost all of it. We think she is pretty adorable and considering all of the circumstances involved, she did a great job!!! Her favorite part was the pink roses her brother Jay brought her.
In case you can't figure it out, she is the one in the last row, in the corner, in the middle of the video. They all look the same, but obviously Sarah is the cutest.
